Effect of Solidification Condition on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Single Crystal Superalloy

Abstract: CMSX-2 single crystals with different primary dendrite arm spacing were obtained on directional solidification apparatus with high temperature gradient (250 K/cm). The microstructure and elevated temperature stress rupture properties of these single crystals were examined and analyzed.
