Thermodynamic stability of LiFeO2 in molten carbonate fuel cell

Abstract: LiFeO2, as one of candidate cathode materials or additive for molten carbonate fuel cell, has been found to be thermodynamically unstable in CO2 atmosphere at 650 degrees C (the condition of molten carbonate fuel cell) both by computation and experimental confirmation.
