Abstract: Mechanical milling of fullerene C60(C70) was investigated to understand the structural evolution. Mechanical milling could not destroy the molecular structure of C60(C70), while the long range periodicity of the fcc crystalline structure was easily damaged. Longer milling time could result in the formation of C60(C70) polymer, including C60 dimer.
